Company Secretarial Assistant

Location: London (this position can also be based in York or Norwich with occasional travel to London when required from time to time)

A bit about the job:

We are looking for someone to come in and support the Aviva Investors Company Secretarial team by delivering high quality, timely and cost-effective company secretarial and corporate governance support whilst also assisting with the delivery of timely and best practice company secretarial and corporate governance support for boards, committees, directors, and senior managers within own area of responsibility.

You will also be assisting with board and committee meetings, directors’ appointments and training and ad hoc engagement meetings with management; managing directors’ fees

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Previous company secretarial experience (Preferred)

  • Self -motivated and organised.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Computer literacy and a good knowledge of the key Microsoft programs and relevant Company Secretarial software (Diligent Entities and Boardbooks).

  • Studying (or looking to start studying) for the CGIUKI qualification / CGIUKI qualified

What will you get for this role?

  • A starting salary between £35,000 – £37,500 (Depending on skills, experience and qualifications)
