Position: Training/Transport First Line Manager
Location: Daventry
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Days – Monday to Friday. 8am – 4pm

We make promises to our customers, and we’ll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • Responsible for the execution of training plans ensuring training is delivered.
  • Support and promote the team in delivering a safety 1st Class H&S culture for the training operation
  • Ensuring all candidates are appropriately trained and familarised with both training and equipment 
  • Ownership and accountability for Candidate induction, training and qualification are up to date for candidates reports
  • Responsible for instructor and fleet legal compliance during shift

  • H&S compliance, ensuring and promoting the best H&S Standards using Safe, sound check lists, safety conversations and Gemba problem solving
    processes
  • Logistic Industry and Transport experience at a managerial level
  • Understanding of Transport compliance and DHL processes
  • Able to work well under pressure and make sound decisions
  • Good communication and numerical skills
